A COURSE RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM

This course held annually in Rome at the Centro Pro Unione initiates participants into the Catholic Church’s teaching on ecumenism and interreligious dialogue. It will provide an historical and theological overview of the issues that divide Christians as well as the bonds that unite them. The program will also explore relations with other religious traditions.

Topics in this three-week long course include: ‘The Reformation (Protestant & Catholic)’, ‘From Division to Dialogue’ and ‘Christians & World Faith Traditions.’ On-site excursions and lectures are also provided in this Roman experience (i.e. Catacombs, Basilica of St. Peter and Excavations, St. Clement, ‘The Ghetto,’ Synagogue and Museum, Mosque and Islamic Center and others).

The deadline for application is March 31, 2024.

This course will provide ample information and a certificate to all who are interested in ecumenical and interreligious dialogue.
